First Game This Year: Southborough vs. Grafton

         On Tuesday my team had our first game this year. We played Grafton from last year.  We batted first. They got our fourth batter out to end the inning. We got their first two batters out, their third guy got walked, their fourth guy got walked, and the fifth guy hit it over the fence for a three run homer! An out of the park home run!  After that we held them that inning. My first time at bat I struck out on a change up. 2-3 at the top of the 3rd inning, Grafton leading. That inning we let them score two runs. It was 2-5 at the beginning of the fourth inning. I got up to bat and hit the ball past the third baseman to score Aidan at home. We ended up scoring 2 runs that inning. It was 4-5 and they were at bat and we let them score 4 runs! We scored no runs in the fifth or the sixth and they ended up winning 9-5. That was a really close game up until the fourth inning.  Grafton was a good team and luckily we have some practices before our next game.

Aidan pitched a strong game for the team.
