Southborough vs. Westborough (with video)

Have you ever seen 19 runs scored in one baseball game? Well, I have. I was actually in the game! Yesterday, my baseball team played Westborough. When we started the game we struck out all 3 batters. When I got out to the field after I hit for the first time that game, we struck out 2 batters and made a play at 1st to end the inning. Then I got up to bat and hit the ball into the outfield without landing in the infield. The final score was 19-0. Southborough wins! I hope we can keep up our winning streak. We have tough games next week. Stay tuned.

  1. LOVE the video! And no, I have never ever seen 19 runs scored in one baseball game in my entire life . . . and that is quite a long time. Your team is smearing the competition and probably getting a fierce reputation in the league. You must have a great group of players and an amazing coach! Good luck in your next game!

  2. Love the video! And your hits were amazing.

What exactly is it called when you "hit the ball into the outfield without landing in the infield"? Brendan says it's an (outfield) single or a just a hit but I like your description better.

Sounds like you're having fun, so don't worry if the teams are tough next week.
